Sacramento River Salmon Fishing
Sacramento River Salmon Fishing Guide
When it comes to fishing for salmon, the Sacramento River in Northern CA offers anglers a wide range of opportunities in regard to methods and techniques to catch salmon throughout a diverse variety of waters.
We typically start our season for Sacramento River Salmon fishing in July. The season will continue to the end of December (as long as river conditions remain favorable). Peak times are typically from the middle of August until the middle of October and then again in December.
Throughout the season for Sacramento River salmon, we employ a number of effective techniques including back trolling, back bouncing, side drifting, and boondogging (dragging).
All of our approaches to salmon fishing are geared toward accommodating both novice and experienced anglers alike. Personal instruction in a fun environment will give each passenger the confidence to reel in that “fish of a lifetime”.
Our 26′ jet boat can easily accomodate 6 passengers in comfort and safety.
We are a full-time operation licensed by CADFG, US Coast Guard, fully insured, bonded, and hold necessary special permits for our operating areas.
